| Young Shardai suffers from a rare skin disorder called
Epidermolysis Bullosa. In 2004, the little Nashville girl became a candidate
for the non-profit organization, Make A Wish Foundation. Shardai's wish was
to go on a national TV talk show to educate the world on her disease, with
the hope of finding a cure. Three years later, after MWF had exhausted every
avenue to fulfill Shardai's wish, it was still just that--a wish. When
Sheilah Griggs, VP of P3M and Co-Founder of Idiom Entertainment, heard Shardai's story she immediately volunteered Point 3's services. As a result,
Shardai's story came to life on video, depicting her incredible courage in
the face of an excruciating disease. The video earned a Silver Telly Award
and an Aurora Award. More importantly, it gave Shardai, her family and MWF a
renewed sense of hope her wish would be granted. |
